Before starting any work, we study the issue and perform comprehensive inspections to properly diagnose the problem. Once we have pinpointed the source of the issue, we will discuss your options with you. We try to stick to repairs if possible, and avoid recommending replacements unless your system or unit is extremely outdated. By focusing on repairs instead of replacement, you save money and enjoy an improved plumbing unit for many more years to come.

I had 207 Plumbing come to fix a leak in my ceiling.  It's a terrible, terrible company to do business with.  He came and fixed a broken pipe in the ceiling, and I asked him to check the rest of the pipe to make sure that nothing else was broken, he said everything was OK and charged me $219.00 for 45 minutes and left.  Never cleaned up his mess.  I went to clean up the mess after he left and found there was more damage to the pipe.  I called him to come back, which he did.  He looked at the water coming down from the ceiling, into a light fixture and said he had another job to go to and couldn't come back until next week.  He also wanted to charge me $350.00 to come back.  I told him that was too much and he said he would make an exception and only charge me $219.00.  Now I have major damage done to the ceiling, the light fixture and the floor.  All of this could have been prevented if he had stayed and fixed the problem.  I will NOT hire him again.

There are few things worse than waiting for a local plumber after being given an 8 hour time window, while your sink is spouting water all over the carpet or your toilet is overflowing. Using the Handy platform, you can arrange an exact time for your plumber to arrive, which means you don’t have to take an entire day off of work to sit around and wait for them. The plumbers on the Handy platform have seen it all and they have the ratings and reviews to prove it.  We’ll match the details of your job with a reliable plumber in your area before you know it.
If nothing inside the home was altered you should not be getting a smell. Personally I'm confused as to why the repair person would have left the original line there and ran another one through a new hole. I would have pulled the old line up, ran the new line (in PVC) and used the same hole in the septic tank instead of creating a new one. Did he seal up the hole in the tank from the old line?
Faucets for the kitchen come in an array of styles, and costs vary as well, from simple single handle models running less than $50 to pull down faucets like those used in restaurant kitchens costing more than $200. One handle or two, separate pullout sprayer or pull down, countertop or wall mount, these also feature a variety of finishes from stainless steel to nickel and bronze.

Water leak detection devices, eco-friendly shower heads, and water-recycling pipes are only some of the most advanced plumbing devices that you can connect to your water supply network. Imagine having a device that will detect leaks before it gets worse; a shower head that releases fewer amount or water yet a higher amount of pressure so that you can still have a great bathing experience; and a system of pipes that recycles safe-to-reuse grey water and connects it to your garden irrigation pipes. These will all raise your water supply system a notch higher!
The issue is same with plumbing work. Fixing taps and leakages is not easy. You cannot do plumbing work by yourself. This is different that electrician work in this aspect. Plumbing needs skills and equipment. Without them, one cannot fix the issue. If you have a problem with pipes or taps, you need a plumber. You also need him if you need to install new taps or geyser or such devices. But you have to ensure that the plumber that you hire is an expert. Finding such a plumber with skills is not easy in Apache Junction.

Plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters may use many different materials and construction techniques, depending on the type of project. Residential water systems, for example, use copper, steel, and plastic pipe that one or two plumbers can install. Power plant water systems, by contrast, are made of large steel pipes that usually take a crew of pipefitters to install. Some workers install stainless steel pipes on dairy farms and in factories, mainly to prevent contamination.

We just moved into our new house a few weeks ago, so having Yuriy do our plumbing check has given us peace of mind. He was excellent at explaining things to us and did a fantastic job with all of the plumbing work (we had our garbage disposal removed and needed a new part for our water heater). We are always so pleased with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. The quality of the work and customer service is unmatched.
Don’t flush floss, tampons, or even so-called “flushable” wipes. They don’t break down like toilet paper does and can come back to haunt you later. “Toilets are more water-efficient now than they were 20 years ago, so there sometimes isn’t enough volume in the flush to force debris down,” says Marcin Wroblewski, president of ExpressRooter Plumbing in Toronto. “An object will get lodged in the trap and cause blockage when waste builds up days later.”

Very high quality work, super knowledgeable and showed us/ explained everything to us before he did it so we had an idea of what was going on. Really friendly guy, 4/5 because he didnt plug the coffee makers back in >:( Just kidding, in all seriousness he gets 5/5 and I would recommend Deans to anyone and everyone.

This is one of the easiest DIY plumbing jobs. Make sure that you know what type of sprayer you have. Does it have a detachable hose? Most older sink sprayers can be replaced without having to replace the hose. If there's a tear in the hose, you may need to purchase a new hose and a new sprayer nozzle. Newer models usually come as one piece. If you have to replace the hose, then you'll need to make sure you have plumbing thread. All new parts come with instructions.
Clogged or jammed garbage disposals are some of the easiest repairs to make. You don't even need an extra tool because every new garbage disposal should come with a hex wrench attached to the disposal itself. Your garbage disposal should also come with instructions on how to properly repair the disposal if it gets jammed. Always make sure the power to the disposal is turned off at the source before you attempt any repairs. Make sure you know what types of foods are intended for garbage disposals, and run it as often as you can to prevent clogs or jams.
After completing an apprenticeship program, plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters are considered to be journey workers, qualifying them to perform duties on their own. Plumbers with several years of plumbing experience may earn master status by passing an exam. Some states require a business to employ a master plumber in order to obtain a plumbing contractor’s license.
I can't say enough good things about Elek Plumbing and the job David Marshall did. We had a flood in our basement due to a clogged out-take pipe. We called Elek because it was a Sunday and they offered emergency service. David showed up quickly and got to work immediately. Not only did he do a fantastic job, but he was friendly and kind as well. Elek's prices were extremely reasonable considering it was an emergency call on a Sunday. I HIGHLY recommend Elek.. ask for David if you can! He's the best!read more

Need a quick fix? After having a plumber come out to your house, they might tell you the part needed to fix your toilet or sink issue is going to take a week. Don’t be too amenable if you can’t wait. There’s no shame in working with another plumber who can get the part and do the job when you need it. If you’re doing the job yourself, be sure you know these tips for completing a plumbing fix like a pro.

When you book a local plumber using the Handy platform for water heater installation, to unclog a toilet, or to clean out your drains, they’ll always arrive with the equipment they’ll need to do a great job. It’s in their interest as much as it’s in yours to complete every job quickly, professionally, and efficiently. That’s why when they show up, they’ll be prepared for whatever curveballs your plumbing repairs may throw at them. When you use the Handy platform to book the best local plumbers, you’ll be asked to input a few details about the plumbing repair job. Using that information, your chosen local plumbing services provider will be able to prepare in advance and ensure they bring everything they need.

Wall thickness does not affect pipe or tubing size.[20] 1/2" L copper has the same outer diameter as 1/2" K or M copper. The same applies to pipe schedules. As a result, a slight increase in pressure losses is realized due to a decrease in flowpath as wall thickness is increased. In other words, 1 foot of 1/2" L copper has slightly less volume than 1 foot of 1/2 M copper.[citation needed]
As important as it is that you are able to distribute potable water throughout your home in a dependable manner, it would be a much less convenient state of affairs if you were not also able to dispose of that water just as conveniently, not to mention hygienically. That is why we suggest allowing our Master Plumbers to complete any and all drain and sewer services that you may require. From basic cleanings to complex repairs and eventual replacements, we truly do it all. If you have any reason to suspect a problem with your drain and sewer system, give us a call right away.
Similarly, there's no shortage of different types of sinks, too. These range from spare single-bowl models starting under $100 to a farmhouse apron front, double bowl made of copper or cast iron that can run $600 or more. Some are mounted under countertops — called undermount sinks — while drop-in sinks are designed for installation in a preexisting space in your countertop. Whatever the type, sinks can uniquely complement kitchen design as do countertops, cabinetry and other features.

The thicknesses of the water pipe and tube walls can vary. Pipe wall thickness is denoted by various schedules or for large bore polyethylene pipe in the UK by the Standard Dimension Ratio (SDR), defined as the ratio of the pipe diameter to its wall thickness. Pipe wall thickness increases with schedule, and is available in schedules 20, 40, 80, and higher in special cases. The schedule is largely determined by the operating pressure of the system, with higher pressures commanding greater thickness. Copper tubing is available in four wall thicknesses: type DWV (thinnest wall; only allowed as drain pipe per UPC), type 'M' (thin; typically only allowed as drain pipe by IPC code), type 'L' (thicker, standard duty for water lines and water service), and type 'K' (thickest, typically used underground between the main and the meter). Because piping and tubing are commodities, having a greater wall thickness implies higher initial cost. Thicker walled pipe generally implies greater durability and higher pressure tolerances.

Tuesday March 6th my husband went into the basement to feed our cats and found that we had water in our basement and that it was from our hot water heater. This was the night before the big snow storm was supposed to hit us. We have a home warranty, but did not get a person and it would have taken 24 hrs before we heard from their plumber. I googled plumbers in our area and saw all the good things said about Elek. I agree with what was said, my call was answered by a live person who was caring and understood what we were going through. Within a short period Scott called and said he would be coming out to install a new water heater. Scott is very professional! He came in made sure that our rug was protected and went to work. Scott explained what was happening and went over the maintenance agreement which we purchased. All this happened from 5pm until 8:30 when Scott left us with a brand new hot water heater. I know that when the time comes we will be using Elek again. Thank you Elek and Scott - you made a stressfull time easier. I have already told my friends and co-workers this story and recommended your services.read more

I had another lady who said she wanted to run to the grocery store to get some coffee to make for me and my guys while we were installing her new kitchen. She said she was just gonna run to the store and asked if we wouldn’t mind keeping an eye out for her one-year-old daughter who was sleeping at the time. We said fine, but she ended up not returning until four hours later. The kid was screaming her head off and we didn’t know what to do. We tried holding her. We didn’t know if she was hungry or what to feed her. She just kept crying.

Pipe is available in rigid "joints", which come in various lengths depending on the material. Tubing, in particular copper, comes in rigid hard tempered "joints" or soft tempered (annealed) rolls. PeX and CPVC tubing also comes in rigid "joints" or flexible rolls. The temper of the copper, that is whether it is a rigid "joint" or flexible roll, does not affect the sizing.[19]
